Also, always try n book direct with guest house, they very negotiable with rates. Before booking flights make sure of ferry schedule , usually 3 times a week to island, and 3 times back to Male. Need to take taxi from there to Vilingili ferry terminal, south west of Male, distance approx 2km, cost about 3usd.. Takes half hour to get to airport from ferry terminal.
